The Lakers took Forward Kyle Kuzma and the 2019 sixth pick out of the deal, but this is still a great package for AD. The only bad side to this trade is that the talent drop off after the third pick is very obvious. This will lower the shot that LA will be able to land Anthony Davis. While the Pels want young Forward Kyle Kuzma, the Lakers won’t budge on offering the big man. Both Ingram,Ball, and the fourth pick are young pieces that can be used in the Pelicans rebuild in the future. First, Davis will attract free agents this summer. Anthony Davis will make the Lakers into title contenders and have a real shot at winning the western conference.
