Former Hoya McClung commits to Texas Tech (CBB News)

Georgetown Guard transfer Mac McClung has committed to play his final two years of eligibility at Texas Tech. McClung chose the Red Raiders over a final group headlined by Arkansas, Auburn, Memphis, and USC. McClung averaged 15.7 points and 2.4 rebounds per game during his sophomore season.

Former Kentucky Guard/Forward Johnny Juzang has received a waiver to play immediately at home state school UCLA. Juzang played minimally in Lexington.

Ranked number eight in the 2021 ESPN 60, Five-Star Center Moussa Cisse has decided to reclassify into the 2020 class. Cisse will make his college decision next week between Florida State, Georgia, Georgetown, Kentucky, LSU, and Memphis.

The Pac-12 has announced that voluntary, in-person workouts for all sports can begin on June 15, as long as local governments and universities permit it.

NCAA makes minor changes to “NET” evaluation tool (CBB News)

Former Arizona State Forward Romello White is headed to Ole Miss per ESPN. White averaged 10.2 points and 8.8 rebounds last season.

Purdue transfer Nojel Eastern is staying in the Big Ten. The guard chose Michigan over many other offers. He averaged almost 5.0 points and 4.0 rebounds per game.

The NCAA Evaluation Tool (NET), which is used to evaluate teams for the NCAA College Basketball Tournament, has been changed a little bit. Two new components to the metric are Team Value Index (TVI) and adjusted efficiency. Both metrics will replace winning percentage, adjusted winning percentage, and scoring margin. Both men’s and women’s college basketball will use this up to date NCAA Evaluation Tool.

Mason Jones signs with agent, ends career at Arkansas (CBB News)

Arkansas Guard Mason Jones signed with Creative Artists Agency meaning his college career is done. He will officially enter the 2020 NBA Draft.

In the wake of Wake Forest’s firing of head coach Danny Manning, Wake Forest big man Oliver Sarr is entering the transfer portal. Wake Forest hired East Tennessee State’s Steve Forbes as its new head head coach.

The 2021 Maui Invitational (2021-2022 season), will be headlined by former Maui Champions Notre Dame and Oregon. The 2021 Maui Invitational will also include Butler, Chaminade, Houston, Saint Mary’s, Wisconsin, and Texas A&M.

Kansas, Missouri to renew football rivalry (CFB News)

Kansas and Missouri are renewing their football rivalry beginning in September 2025. Both squads will get two home games in a four game slate over six seasons. The game in 2025 will be played in Columbia (MO), in 2026 in Lawrence (KS), back to Columbia in 2031, and conclude in 2032 in Lawrence.

Top 2021 QB Caleb Williams cut his list of schools in his consideration to three on Tuesday afternoon. Williams announced on his social medias that LSU, Maryland, and Oklahoma still have a chance to land his services. Ranked number fifteen in the new 2021 ESPN 100, Williams cut Clemson and Penn State from his previous list.

Four-Star 2021 QB Grant Nussmeier committed to LSU on Monday. Nussmeier joins a loaded 2021 class in Baton Rouge.

Consensus four and five-star 2021 running back Will Shipley committed to Clemson on Tuesday. Shipley chose Clemson over NC State, North Carolina, Notre Dame, and Stanford. Shipley is ranked number twenty-two overall in the latest 2021 ESPN 300.
