5.Alabama at. Mississipi State
Alabama has to win to have a chance at returning to the College Football Playoff. I expect Nick Saban’s team to fire on all cylinders in Starkville and give Mississippi State no chance entering the fourth quarter. Prediction:Alabama 49, Mississippi State 17

2.Ohio State at. Rutgers
Ohio State showed a week ago versus Maryland that there was going to be no problem for them without star Defensive End Chase Young. With Young only suspeneded one game more for NCAA elgibility issues, Ohio State should easily beat Rutgers. Prediction:Ohio State 56, Rutgers 10

Wake Forest at. 3.Clemson
Wrapping up the ACC Atlantic just means for a bigger target on Clemson’s back. A tough challenge for Clemson just means that Clemson should play better. I have Clemson winning a tough game versus the Demon Deacons. Prediction:Clemson 38, Wake Forest 27

4.Georgia at. 12.Auburn
QB Jake Fromm and Georgia have had trouble with Auburn on the plains in the past, but Georgia has to win to stay in the playoff race. Georgia wins in an ugly game. Prediction:Georgia 16, Auburn 9

8.Minnesota at. 20.Iowa
Iowa has been eliminated from the Big Ten West picture but a game at home versus the division leaders means for a great game. I think Iowa has a first half lead but PJ Fleck’s Golden Gophers make a comeback to win. Prediction:Minnesota 33, Iowa 28

1.LSU at. Ole Miss
After LSU’s glorius win over then number three ranked Alabama, they will have to keep winning to stay in the driver’s seat in the SEC West. LSU wins and they don’t have much trouble doing it. Prediction:LSU 49, Ole Miss 24

10.Oklahoma at. 13.Baylor
Whoever wins this game will be in the driver’s seat in the Big 12 and the most likely to land a playoff spot. Despite Oklahoma’s loss, I have them beating Baylor. Prediction:Oklahoma 38, Baylor 17
