Welcome to cbhsports, where passion meets purpose in covering the games we love.
I’m Carter B. Huff, a dedicated sports blogger and journalist with nearly a decade of experience writing about college football, basketball, baseball, the NBA, and the NFL. Since 2016, I’ve built this platform as a hub for in-depth analysis, breaking news, and thoughtful commentary across the sports landscape.
I’m currently a sophomore at the University of Arkansas, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Education in Recreation and Sport Management, with minors in Communication and Journalism, within the College of Education and Health Professions.
My journey in sports media has taken me from independent blogging to high-profile opportunities. In 2022, I attended the prestigious North Carolina Scholastic Media Association Sports Journalism Camp, where I sharpened my storytelling skills alongside aspiring sports writers from across the country.
During the last few summers, I have served as the Director’s Assistant at Nike Basketball Camp, supporting camp operations, managing communication between staff and athletes, and ensuring a smooth and professional environment for youth development through sport.
In the fall of 2024, I covered Arkansas Razorbacks athletics for The Arkansas Traveler, the University’s student newspaper. During that time, I wrote key features on the 2025 Arkansas baseball schedule, the final chapter of the COVID-era athletes, and covered Arkansas football’s memorable upset over No. 4 Tennessee.
Currently, I serve as a Communications Intern with Arkansas Razorbacks Athletics, where I’ve gained hands-on experience in sports information, graphic design, and game-day operations. I’ve also shadowed the Arkansas baseball SID, honing my ability to craft professional game recaps and understand the behind-the-scenes work of college athletics.
Since April of 2025, I’ve been a proud member of the Razorback Foundation Collegiate Board, further deepening my connection to college athletics and its broader community impact.
My Objective:
I am interested in working in athletics at the collegiate level, especially in sports information and communication, and aspire to one day become an Associate Athletic Director.
Whether it’s on the field, in the press box, or behind the scenes, I’m committed to bringing clarity, energy, and authenticity to every story I tell.
Thanks for being part of the journey — and welcome to cbhsports.
