The career of UCA wide receiver Malachi Henry

Central Arkansas redshirt freshman wide receiver Malachi Henry has had a great football career up to this point. During his four year career at Van Buren high school, Henry made crazy catches, picked off many passes, and scored many touchdowns as a Van Buren Pointer. After his high school career wrapped up in the fall of 2022, he committed to play football for the Central Arkansas Bears. He redshirted last season as a freshman (caught 1 pass for 10 yards) before emerging this season as the second leading receiver on the team with 18 catches for 364 yards and a team-leading three touchdown catches through eight games. It wouldn’t be a surprise to see Henry getting handoffs on jet sweeps with his speed in future games and future seasons.
