Zion headlines College Basketball Awards night,sweeping every POY award for the ’18-’19 season

Duke Freshman Forward Zion Williamson has sweeeped the college basketball player of the year awards, winning the AP, Naismith, and winning the John R. Wooden Player of the Year Award last night.Williamson also won the Karl Malone Award as the nation’s best Power Forward.

Other awards given out were to Duke Freshman Guard RJ Barrett who won the Jerry West Award for the best shooting guard, Murray State Sophomore Guard Ja Morant won the Bob Cousy Award for the best point guard, Gonzaga Junior Forward Rui Hachimura won the Julius Erving Award for the nation’s top small forward, and Wisconsin Senior Center Ethan Happ won the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Award for the nation’s top center.
