Williamson has show us why he is the number one pick in this draft.Either the Pels build around Zion and trade Anthony Davis or package Zion in a deal to convince Davis to stay.No matter what, the Pels are taking Williamson with this pick.
2.Memphis Grizzlies-Ja Morant,PG,Murray State (Sophomore)
Morant has emerged as the top point guard in this class with an excellent sophomore season while averaging twenty-three points and ten assists. The Grizzlies are likely to trade Mike Conley and build for the future around Ja Morant and 2018 draftee, Power Forward Jaren Jackson.
3.New York Knicks-RJ Barrett,SG-SF,Duke (Freshman)
The Knicks won’t get the big prize in Zion Williamson but they will get RJ Barrett, a great consolation prize. Barrett will bolster the wing room and help entice 2019 free agents Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant to the big apple.
4.LA Lakers-Darius Garland,PG,Vanderbilt (Freshman)
We had a sample size of what Garland could do in college as he got injured. Garland could be a reach for this reason but Garland should complement LeBron James, Kyle Kuzma, Brandon Ingram, and Lonzo Ball.
5.Cleveland Cavaliers-De’Andre Hunter,SF-PF,Virginia (Sophomore)
Hunter will bolster a weak wing group in Cleveland.Hunter is an amazing three and d player and is a good fit in Cleveland.
6.Phoenix Suns-Jarrett Culver,SG,Texas Tech (Sophomore)
Culver may be a ball handler at the shooting guard position like current shooting guard Devin Booker but Culver can play both wing spots and is an excellent defender.
7.Chicago Bulls-Coby White,PG,North Carolina (Freshman)
While White may be picked by Phoenix a pick earlier, the Bulls would fill a need with Coby White as current point guard Kris Dunn has failed to meet any expectations in his young NBA career.White is a dynamic ball handler and can really shoot it.
8.Atlanta Hawks-Cam Reddish,SG-SF,Duke (Freshman)
Reddish will give Hawks point guard Trae Young another shooter.Reddish is the perfect pick here as he can either be a ball handler or an off-ball shooter for the Hawks.
9.Washington Wizards-Sekou Doumbouya,PF,Limoges
Doumbouya is an athletic power forward that will bolster a forward room headed by Bobby Portis and Jabari Parker.Sekou should be at least a top ten pick and is one as he heads to DC.
10.Atlanta Hawks-Jaxson Hayes,C,Texas (Freshman)
Hayes shot up draft boards during his Freshman season, and with Atlanta’s second pick in the lottery, they will take a chance with Hayes as their draft pick.
11.Minnesota Timberwolves-Brandon Clarke,PF,Gonzaga (Junior)
With Minnesota star center Karl-Anthony Towns defense being dismal, Clarke is a great pick here for the T-Wolves.Clarke brings great defensive ability that Minnesota will need for a future playoff run.
12.Charlotte Hornets-PJ Washington,PF,Kentucky (Sophomore)
Washington also went up draft boards during this past season.Washington, as he is undersized, brings a great rebounding ability to Charlotte.
13.Miami Heat-Bol Bol,C,Oregon (Freshman)
Bol did get injured early in his Freshman season and Miami is taking a big chance with this pick.Bol brings an unprecedented three point shot, and a rebounder that is seven foot three.
