Key games this weekend (Rankings based off of AP Poll)
8.Cincinnati at. Indiana (Saturday, 12 PM ET, ESPN)
Despite a struggling start, Indiana will challenge Cincinnati and QB Desmond Ridder. Cincinnati’s path to the College Football Playoff has to include wins over Indiana and one over Notre Dame next month. Indiana, led by QB Michael Penix, has to get their offense going if they want to win this game. Projected Score: Cincinnati 38, Indiana 27

Nebraska at. 3.Oklahoma (Saturday, 12 PM ET, FOX)
Oklahoma has been upset, at least the last few years, about the number of noon eastern kick off games they have had to play, it being the major reason why the Sooners are headed to the SEC soon. In a rematch of another “game of the century”, Oklahoma should have no problems scoring versus their old rivals. But, at least a solid performance will be needed for the Sooners to defeat Scott Frost’s Corn Huskers. Projected Score: Oklahoma 45, Nebraska 21

1.Alabama at. 11.Florida (Saturday, 3:30 PM ET, CBS)
In the top match up of the SEC to date this season, Alabama and Florida meet in a rematch of last season’s SEC Championship. The Crimson Tide, despite massive turnover entering last season, look as good as ever. Florida’s QB situation seems to be up in the air with backup QB Anthony Brown outplaying starting QB Emory Jones. Florida coach Dan Mullen has to make the right decision on who starts for the Gators and who can beat Alabama. Projected Score: Alabama 42, Florida 31

Georgia Tech at. 6.Clemson (Saturday, 3:30 PM ET, TBD)
With no ranked games left on the schedule, Clemson has to blow out every ACC team they play. So, that is what I think Dabo Swinney and his guys will do against the Yellow Jackets. Projected Score: Clemson 45, Georgia Tech 14

22.Auburn at. 10.Penn State (Saturday, 7:30 PM ET, ABC)
College GameDay heads to Happy Valley for a big “whiteout” game for Penn State as they take on an improved Auburn team. Auburn’s Bo Nix has played efficiently and can be a guy to lead the tigers over the Nittany Lions. Despite slow starts from Penn State’s offense, their defense has been fantastic and should lead them to a win. Projected Score: Penn State 24, Auburn 17
