Alabama Freshman QB Tua Tagovailoa injures throwing hand,should be out for a few days of practice

Alabama Freshman Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa injured his throwing thumb in Alabama’s first spring practice today.Tagovailoa came in the second half in this years’ College Football Playoff National Championship versus Georgia,as a Freshman,and led them to a comeback victory,and the game winning passing touchdown in overtime.Tagovailoa is battling Sophomore QB Jalen Hurts for the starting job.Alabama Head Coach Nick Saban said “Probably going to require some time for him to get back,” Saban said. “I’m not going to speculate on what the injury might be.”
