Auburn announced Tuesday night that Boise State head coach Bryan Harsin would be its next head football coach. Harsin replaces Gus Malzahn, who coached on the plains for eight seasons. In seven seasons at Boise State, Harsin went 69-19 and won three Mountain West titles. Louisiana head coach Bill Napier and Clemson defensive coordinator Brent Venables both turned down the Auburn job after being offered it in the past few weeks.
