College Football:2018-19 National Champion Pick

Alabama and Clemson have been one and two since the 2015 season and it seems that no one (at least where I live) is getting tired of it.They meet for a fourth time in a college football playoff game, and I see this being one of the closer games in the series between these two.I see Clemson having a lead at some point in the game but I’m not picking against Nick Saban,Tua Tagovailoa, and the defense that is Alabama.Predicted Score:Alabama 38,Clemson 35,Make sure to go vote on my last post on whether to start a new blog site or not for my Dallas Cowboys and Arkansas Razorbacks weekly sports reviews.

Georgia QB Justin Fields confirms transfer to Ohio State

Justin Fields, the former top ranked player in the ESPN 300,has confirmed that he will be transferring to Ohio State which was his top choice the entire time he was deciding on his future.Fields will leave his home state of Georgia and established sophomore starting quarterback Jake Fromm behind in Athens.Fields will have some competition if he were to get a hardship waiver from the NCAA to play in 2019,competing with Dwayne Haskins, who could (and probably) will be leaving Ohio State to enter the NFL draft, and former number one quarterback in the 2017 ESPN 300,Tate Martell who has posted on Twitter that he wants that starting job as much as Fields does.

Dana Holgorsen hired by Houston

Former West Virginia Head Coach Dana Holgorsen has been hired by Houston as their head coach. Why would he downgrade from being a playoff contender to having almost no shot at the playoff trophy? The former Houston Offensive Coordinator will get a shot to prove himself again in a big market,as West Virginia probably wouldn’t of payed him if he had stayed.

Conference Realignment (Part 6):Making the Pac-12 into a super conference (My Pac-12 realignment and what should happen in the next realignment)

As this series of What if I was a college football god has become the most popular,I have decided to rename all of my posts about this in these following blogs:https://carterbhuffsports.com/2018/08/19/if-i-were-a-college-football-god-part-1-big-12-edition/,https://carterbhuffsports.com/2018/11/22/what-if-i-could-do-conference-alignment-from-the-start/,https://carterbhuffsports.com/2018/11/23/what-if-the-big-12-disbands-and-where-would-each-school-go/,https://carterbhuffsports.com/2018/12/17/what-if-i-was-a-college-football-god-part-4what-if-college-football-had-eight-power-conferences/,and https://carterbhuffsports.com/2018/12/18/what-if-i-was-a-college-football-god-part-5the-perfect-realignment-in-the-acc-if-notre-dame-and-some-other-school-joined-in-all-sports/.Disregard my post about making the Big 12 into a super-conference and take my post about where each school in the Big 12 would go if it disbanded into because in this series of posts about making each, now, power four conference in super conferences.

The Pac-12 would add Texas,Texas Tech,Oklahoma, and Oklahoma State from the now disbanded Big 12.That is all the Pac-12 would add but they would start something called the pod system.A team would play every team from their pod and would play every other team from one pod in 2019-2020 and would play the other two by 2020-2021 and 2021-2022.In the other pods that a pod wasn’t playing, they would play the teams from the other pods who finished in the same standing that they did in their pod.
